After a life-long commitment to social justice and a heroic, 18-month battle with pancreatic cancer, Lynne passed on this evening. She was comfortable and at home in her bed with Sister Jo at her side. We will post details about her memorial soon.
There are no words to expess our feeling of loss to our world at Lynn's passing. She will be remembered for her extraordinary humor and compassion. Billy & Veva Foster
Your life, your drive, your passion will live on forever. The impact you have made in this world is something that inspires everyone that you have ever met. Lynne Cooper is and always will be a hero to me. I am sure heaven has been preparing for your arrival. Now that you are there, I hope they weren't too shocked when you grabbed a seat at the head table:) Love always and forever. Chris and Justin Thacker

How Lynne worked tirelessly and passionately for a cause that initially others were reluctant to take on is her inspiring legacy.
ReplyDeleteI feel privileged to have been a part of her life ... since she was a freshman at Fontbonne University. I will carry her in my heart forever. Cec
